Here’s a little secret I’ve been keeping for the past several weeks... In my free time, I’ve been pushing my limits in ways I never imagined—by jumping out of planes. It all started when my oldest son, Adam, turned 18 and wanted to celebrate by skydiving. Little did I know, that single leap would turn into a passion that’s completely reinvigorated me, both personally and professionally. Skydiving has given me a new perspective—literally and figuratively. Every jump feels like a reminder of how bold decisions can lead to the most remarkable transformations, much like in design. It’s about trusting yourself, taking risks, and embracing the thrill of the unknown, whether you’re free-falling through the sky or reimagining a space from the ground up. I’m overflowing with gratitude for the unwavering support of my three boys, who have cheered me on every step of this journey. But my deepest thanks go to my husband, Reed, an avid skydiver with 20+ years in the sport. He’s been my rock, guiding me through every flight, helping me stay centered when the nerves set in, and waiting at each landing with pure joy and pride in his eyes. From rescuing me from cornfields miles from the dropzone to reminding me to ‘do it scared,’ he’s been by my side with boundless love and encouragement. I couldn’t have done this without him. And to my amazing coaches and newfound friends, your patience, kindness, and belief in me have been truly life-changing. I’m so lucky to have such an incredible group of people lifting me up, both in the sky and on the ground. This adventure has reignited my passion for boldness and creativity in every aspect of my life. There’s so much more to come—stay tuned! Working on this Cherry Creek home has been such a rewarding journey, and we couldn’t be more excited to share the transformation. ✨ The kitchen is truly the heart of the home. Guests gather aroung two beautiful islands - one for cooking and another, backlit for the perfect mood. 🍽 The great room is one of our favorite spaces. A fluted marble fireplace and custom multi-pendant chandelier bring warmth and elegance to the home. 🛋️ We morphed the primary bath into a personal oasis with limestone tiles, walnut cabinetry, and natural light pouring in through a skylight—pure serenity.  ✨ Let’s not forget the basement, which went from unfinished to an entertainment dream. Recently, I had the remarkable opportunity to visit the north side of Chicago, a vibrant area along the lakeshore, to spend time with my good friend, Jim Belushi. Nestled within this bustling cityscape, Jim owns a stunning historic condo that exudes character and charm. During my visit, we embarked on an ambitious project: transforming an old library, a space Jim found himself rarely using, into something extraordinary. The vision? A sophisticated cigar room, complete with state-of-the-art ventilation, and an adjoining sauna. This unique renovation plan not only promises to enhance the condo’s allure but also to create a haven for relaxation and enjoyment. Diving into the demolition process, we were filled with excitement and anticipation for the transformation ahead, marking the beginning of a significant makeover. The endeavor to repurpose this space into a cigar room and sauna is truly a testament to the innovative use of space, blending luxury with comfort in the heart of Chicago. My journey began with a flight into Milwaukee, my beloved hometown, to check on another exciting project currently under renovation. This quick stop was not only productive but also deeply nostalgic, reconnecting me with my roots. After touching base with the Milwaukee project, I drove down to Chicago to collaborate with Jim on his condo transformation. Following our productive stint in Chicago, I returned to Milwaukee to enjoy a heartfelt dinner with my in-laws, cherishing the familial ties that ground me. Step into the primary bedroom of our 'Canyon Comfort' project, where every detail sings in harmony.🏡✨ Charcoal walls and high contrast textures are just the beginning. 😍 From black and ivory pillow combinations with punches of mauve to the gorgeous settee at the foot of the bed, this space offers unparalleled comfort. Perfect for soaking in the panoramic canyon views or providing a bed for the two furry residents of the house. 🐶🐶 But wait, there's more! A hair-on-hide geometric rug lays the foundation of style, complementing the uniquely-shaped wood and lacquer bedside tables. The curated accessories adorning these tables were handpicked to reflect our clients' personality and taste. And let's not overlook those table lamps! Formed from cast iron and featuring a deep hammered texture, they're finished in a heavily antique golden bronze. Paired with an exposed fabric-covered cord, they're pieces of art in their own right. This custom chandelier was well worth the wait! After countless rounds of revisions we were so excited when the piece finally went into production. When we received it 20 weeks later, we were so bummed to learn it had arrived in the “wrong finish”. Ugh!
